ABOUT THE TREK

Unraveling the Mystique

The Ali Bedni Bugyal trek is a combination of Ali Bugyal & Bedni Bugyal located in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. This trek takes you through some of India's most magnificent alpine meadows at an elevation of 11,686 feet which extend as far as the eye can see, surrounded by dense forests, tall peaks, and limitless open skies. We at Unxplord believe that everyone should visit Ali Bedni bugyal at least once in their lifetime. It is perfect for everyone, especially for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and photographers looking to capture the raw beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas.

The trek begins in Lohajung village, and progressively ascends through deep oak and buransh forests. As you climb, the scenery shifts into massive meadows—Ali Bugyal and Bedni Bugyal—that provide ever-present panoramic views of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and Chaukhamba peaks.

Witnessing the golden sunrise over the Himalayan range, with the first rays of sunlight rendering the peaks in hues of orange and gold, is one of the most impressive experiences on this trek. Apart from the natural beauty, Bedni Kund, a lake in Bedni Bugyal, holds great religious value for the locals who come here to pray to Nanda Devi, the famed Himalayan deity. The Ali Bedni Bugyal trek is one of Uttarakhand's most rewarding hikes, combining spirituality, adventure, and stunning beauty.
