Jim Corbett National Park (the first & oldest national park in India), an iconic & serene wildlife heaven is located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.

Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, this wildlife sanctuary offers a safe haven for various wildlife species, including the magnificent Bengal tiger, the Asiatic elephant, and the elusive leopard along with hundreds of species of birds. Forest covers almost 73% of the park, while 10% of the area consists of grasslands. It houses around 110 tree species, 50 species of mammals, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species.
