Rishikesh, also known as Yoga Capital of the World, is situated in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It's a city located amid the Himalayan foothills on the banks of River Ganga. Rishikesh is often referred to as the "Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas" and is located just 21 km away from the famous city of Haridwar and 45 km from the state capital Dehradun.
Rishikesh is a well-known center for a variety of adventurous activities such as Riverside Camping/Glamping, Rafting, Bungee Jumping, and more. This is a place where you can find everything - Yoga & meditation, spirituality, ancient history and architecture, adventure or just a relaxing vacation with a splendid view.
Kedarnath, a Hindu pilgrimage town, is located around 200 Km from Rishikesh. It is part of the Chota CHAR DHAM Circuit and is famous for its ancient Kedarnath temple. Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand is where it is located, and it is about 3,583 m (11,755 ft) above sea level near the Chorabari Glacier, the source of the Mandakini River. Kedarnath is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, with the Kedarnath Mountain being the most prominent among them.
